ScotiaCard is a VISA Electron card provided immediately at no charge when you open any Scotiabank deposit account, whether a Universal or savings account. 

You can easily pay for your purchases or get cash at ATMs in both Costa Rica and the rest of the world. You no longer have to worry about carrying large sums of money - our ScotiaCard will free you of that.

You do not have to fill out a form for each transaction. All you have to do is go to an ATM, slide your card through the reader, enter your PIN and finish the transaction.

You can pay for purchases by debiting your savings account at any VISA affiliated merchant. The cards can be associated with accounts in colones and in dollars. You can take out cash at any VISA PLUS ATM anywhere in the world and at any of the ATMs belonging to the ATH network in Costa Rica.
